Great-West Life Annuity Insurance has announced that Mitchell Graye has been named president and CEO of the company. He replaces Raymond McFeetors, who has been appointed chairman of the board.

Mr Graye will be responsible for the growth and profitability of Great-West Life Annuity Insurance (Great-West).

Most recently, Mr Graye was executive vice president and CFO for Great-West. He served as senior vice president and CFO for Great-West Life Assurance from 1993 to 1997, when he joined Great-West. Prior to his roles within the group, Mr Graye held senior financial positions in both the corporate and investment banking sectors.

Mr Graye said: We’ve been pursuing a strategy to expand and broaden our financial services business. I’m looking forward to continuing to build on this foundation.

Three other senior officer appointments also were announced. Charles Nelson was appointed president, Great-West Retirement Services, Mark Corbett, formerly senior vice president, investments, was appointed executive vice president and chief investment officer and James McCallen was appointed senior vice president and CFO.
