Great American Insurance Group has promoted Annette Gardner to the role of vice president and assistant treasurer of the company.
Ms Gardner’s responsibilities include rating agency relationships, corporate development, cash management and oversight of corporate, cost and statistical accounting functions. She will continue to report to Dave Witzgall, senior vice president and CFO.
Ms Gardner began her career with Great American in 1988. Upon receiving her BBA degree in accounting from the University of Cincinnati in 1991, she worked as a staff accountant with Arthur Andersen until 1993 when she returned to Great American. During her tenure with the company, she has held various positions of increased responsibility within Great American’s financial division and was promoted to divisional vice president in 2004.
