Goss Reinsurance Brokers, a Texas-based privately owned reinsurance intermediary, has appointed Kirk Conrad as partner.
Conrad will lead Goss Re’s quantitative analysis effort including catastrophe and risk modeling, actuarial consulting, and financial analysis.
Conrad is a fellow of the Casualty Actuary Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Prior to joining Goss Re, Conrad served as vice president, reserving actuary at Affirmative Insurance. From 2008 to 2010, He served as an investment analyst at HBK Capital Management.
Goss Re chairman Randall Goss said adding Kirk to the already strong team at Goss Re furthers the ability to lead the pack in terms of technical acumen on a broad range of issues facing customers.
Goss Re managing partner Scott Brock said Kirk will be working directly with clients to design and deliver custom solutions for risk analysis and financing.
