GoHealthInsurance Renews Security Certification Program From VeriSign

To ensure that all the information sent over the Internet is fully encrypted and secured

GoHealthInsurance, a US-based online health insurance portal providing health insurance quotes, has renewed its SSL security certification program from VeriSign, a third-party Internet infrastructure service.

The move is to safeguard consumers’ security, ensuring all and any information sent over the Internet is fully encrypted and secured, said the company. GoHealthInsurance.com uses the security technology and transmits all consumer data encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).

The VeriSign certificate obtained by GoHealthInsurance.com must be renewed every three years to ensure that SSL is activated.
