GNW-Evergreen Insurance Services, an Encino-based broker, has inked a deal to purchase the assets of Plenary Insurance Services – reported San Diego Business Journal.

As per the deal, GNW-Evergreen has taken over Plenary’s San Diego office as well as an Orange County office. Plenary is a subsidiary of Employers Direct of Agoura Hills. GNW-Evergreen has also taken over the renewal rights for directly placed workers’ compensation insurance policies of Employers Direct.

Andrew Forchelli, partner and chief operating officer for GNW-Evergreen, stated that he plans to increase its presence in San Diego and Orange counties. The firm targets clients with revenue between $25 million and $1 billion, quoted sdbj.com.
