GlobalOptions has appointed Lars Skaar as director of International Strategies, to help assist in expanding the firm's SIU programs throughout Europe and around the world.
In his new role, Skaar will be responsible for leading SIU Initiatives and program development in the European and Global markets in addition to identifying potential acquisitions in those markets.
In addition to development of multi-national investigative programs, Skaar will develop international anti-fraud strategies while working with Global customers.
From 1986 to 2011, Skaar served Tryg Insurance Special Investigation Unit as SIU Director and was also member of the Norwegian Fraud Committee within FNO.
Skaar also held service with International Association of Special Investigative Units (IASIU) as well as several positions at the IASIU International Board of Directors.
