Malta based underwriter GlobalCapital has deployed BSB's Solife software to administer its full range of life insurance portfolio, in a bid to offer better services to the customers, while improving business efficiency.

With the launch of a new insurance management system, GlobalCapital can manage every aspect of its life insurance activity, from distribution through Solife’s web front-end through to claims management, the insurer said.

GlobalCapital CEO Bashar Khatib said, "Solife is highly rated in the life insurance industry and, after a thorough review, we concluded that it represents by far the best solution for our company – matching our reputation for innovation in support of customer service and cost-efficiency."

"We have an ambitious expansion strategy for our life insurance business and Solife will support its effective implementation both in Malta and abroad."

The technology will enable the firm to slash operating costs and reduce risk by reforming and automating the management of transactions, while its in-built workbenches shorten time-to-market for new products launches, claims GlobalCapital.

GlobalCapital was formed following the integration of Global Financial Services Group and British American Insurance, which offers life insurance, health insurance and investment services in the region.
