Aon eSolutions, the technology solutions business of Aon Corporation, has been selected by German engineering company MAN, to manage its process of handling losses and claims, and collecting insurance values.
MAN will deploy the Aon eSolutions’ risk management information system RiskConsol.
Upon implementation of the RiskConsol, over 250 employees of the MAN around the world will use RiskConsole to manage claims, property values, risk engineering and policy data.
The MAN Group is one of the major industrial firms in transport-related engineering, with revenues of approximately €14.7bn in 2010.
As a supplier of trucks, buses, diesel engines, turbo machines and special gear units, MAN employs approximately 47,700 people worldwide.
Aon eSolutions CEO Kathleen Burns said by understanding the strategic needs of MAN and the complexity that in-house risk managers deal with, Aon will be able to demonstrate the global footprint and capability of RiskConsole to help them achieve their risk management objectives.
