GE Insurance names new head of European insurance units

GE Insurance Solutions has announced the appointment of Peter Elliott to lead operations for the company's European Life & Health Division.

Formerly head of sales for the region, Mr Elliott, together with a newly appointed management team, will lead the business in the UK, Irish and Middle Eastern markets.

Mr Elliott stated he was keen to build on GE’s existing platform. We run our portfolios with intensity, he said. This, combined with a determination to provide our customers with an unsurpassed level of service, will continue to help differentiate us in these changing market places.

Mr Elliott has been with GE Insurance Solutions for over ten years, having previously worked in the UK’s primary insurance market. He will now report to the president of the European Life & Health Business, Alberto Izaga.
