GCube, a provider of insurance services for renewable energy projects, has launched a specialized workers compensation insurance offering for the wind and solar industry, in partnership with International Facilities Insurance Services (IFIS).
The wind and solar worker’s compensation program is designed to provides employees with the coverage that meets the needs of energy project owners, developers, engineers and manufacturers working onsite.
The collaborative venture has been developed and backed by GCube in conjunction with Tower Group, a provider of diversified property and casualty insurance products and services.
As part of the policy, renewable energy employers can now incorporate multiple projects, in multiple North American states, into a single overarching policy, reducing the operational and administrative burdens.
