GCube, an insurance underwriting agency in the renewable energy, has appointed John McLane as new president of its affiliate GCube Insurance Services, a provider of insurance services for the renewable energy sector.
McLane brings over 30 years of operating experience to all facets of insurance and risk financing programs for utility scale renewable energy projects.
Prior to joining GCube, McLane worked with two regional brokerage firms focused on companies in renewable energy and clean technology. Previously, he was the power and utility practice leader at Marsh, leading the team of brokers responsible for placing over $1bn in premium volume within more than 100 markets in the US, London and Bermuda.
