Great American Insurance Group (GAIG), a specialty insurance provider, has selected GDS Link's DataView360 solution to enhance the underwriting process of its trucking division.
According to the GDS Link, the web-based DataView360 solution enables GAIG to obtain a real-time, blended credit grade by entering an applicant’s name and address. The solution’s multiple aggregated data sources provide a holistic view of credit information.
The DataView360 supports internal and external data access as well as facilitates the creation and maintenance of attribute sets and custom scorecard models supporting rapid decisioning processes.
GAIG vice president of the Trucking Division Tim Clinton said the ability to review this information allows the GAIG to reduce the amount of uncollectible balances in this customer segment.
GDS Link president Paul Greenwood said GAIG required a systematic capability to pull credit information in real time to accurately validate the records of its applicants and then offer terms based on that data. With DataView360, GAIG can improve the underwriting of its insurance policies.
