Pan-European carrier Gable Insurance has acquired Sequel’s Eclipse Underwriting software in a deal that includes training, consultancy and implementation.

Additionally, the Liechtenstein headquartered Gable is also purchasing Sequel’s Eclipse Financials module for its GAAP reporting requirements.

Gable’s new system, running on Sequel’s software, is expected to go live during the fourth quarter of 2013.

Commenting on the platform, Gable chief executive William Dewsall said, "We needed one modern, powerful and robust system to run our European business on, so we chose Sequel.

"The software Sequel proposed was immediately applicable to our international operations and they had the ability to install a system that would support our plans for growth."
