UK life and pensions specialist Friends Provident has launched an online income protection quote service, further enhancing its protection offering.
The new service allows advisers to quote and produce an illustration for individual income protection (IP) and houseperson’s cover through the company’s website in a few simple steps.
IP quotes can be produced on a level or increasing basis, with the option to choose a weekly benefit amount or total premium figure. Quotes incorporating multiple deferred periods can also be produced, and a calculator is available to help advisers estimate their clients’ shortfall based on their salary and circumstances. Advisers can print the illustration, save the quote for retrieval later or proceed straight to the online application form, which is pre-populated with the client’s details.
