Friends Provident Corporate Benefits has appointed Colin Williams as new Distribution and Marketing director, Paul Bucksey as head of New Business Development and Russell Welsh as new head of Workplace Development.
Friends Provident has said that these appointments are the first in a series designed to build a customer focused sales and workplace team.
Williams has more than 15 years experience in the corporate benefits industry. He will be responsible for defining, developing and managing the sales and marketing strategy as well as creating new and market leading propositions.
Bucksey has previously held a number of senior sales, management and director roles within the corporate benefits market. Reporting directly to Colin he will be responsible for new business development and consultant relationships to support Friends Provident’s corporate proposition.
Welsh will lead the client relationship team to retain and develop existing business. He has both sector experience and understanding of Friends Provident’s corporate proposition and has been integral to the development of Friends Provident’s corporate platform – Next Generation Solutions.
Friends Provident managing director Paul McMahon said new team will work closely with advisers and employers supporting them to navigate through a changing workplace savings landscape.
