Forethought Financial Group, a provider of insurance and financial products, has appointed Paula Nelson as the new president of Forethought Distributors, the company's newly formed channel for distribution of annuity and life insurance products through financial institutions.
According to Forethought, Ms Nelson will lead its institutional distribution and marketing strategies, focused on financial institutions. Previously, she was managing director of AEGON Financial Services Group. Prior to that, she was CEO of Transamerica Capital.

Ms Nelson said: “We plan on being very aggressive in addressing the opportunities that now exist for Forethought to develop multi-faceted products designed to help financial institutions provide safe and secure retirement options for their clients and to do it with outstanding service and support systems.
