Guidewire Software has deployed its InsuranceSuite as underwriting, policy administration, billing and claims management platform in Florida-based property and casualty (P&C) insurer Citizens Property Insurance.
At present, Citizens is implementing InsuranceSuite for its personal and commercial lines of business, and expanding the platform as part of an organization-wide transformation initiative to support its vision.
Citizens Property Insurance systems and operations chief Kelly Booten said: "We fully migrated from our previous commercial systems. It’s been a strong success from an implementation perspective."
Involving a total of 70 integration points, the project has been deployed in four phases, including claims and policy/billing for commercial lines followed by claims and policy/billing for its personal lines of business.
InsuranceSuite will allow Citizens to achieve a lower total cost of ownership across its core systems and manage business on a modern technology platform developed for enhanced flexibility and upgradeability.
Guidewire InsuranceSuite was developed using a modular approach, allowing insurers to select individual applications such as Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter and Guidewire ClaimCenter or as a pre-integrated set.
