Flexible Benefit Service Corporation (Flex) will unveil a private health insurance exchange (PHIX) InsureXSolutions, helping uninsured businesses with the ability to offer employees access to health care.

Suitable for any size business that can pay group insurance premiums, the InsureXSolutions enables employers to use a defined contribution funding model to assist employees with health care expenses at a fixed cost, while providing stretchy individual and family insurance plan options, the firm said.

Commenting on the new launch, Flexible Benefit Service Corporation president John DiVito said Flex recognises the need to provide cost-effective health care programs for uninsured businesses.

"InsureXSolutions is a natural fit for those employers not currently providing group health insurance who need help providing health care assistance now, regardless of the changes health care reform could bring in the years to come," DiVito added.

The platform is easily assembled with defined contribution funding model which resembles the health care funding approach used with the exchange concept that businesses may ultimately choose beginning in 2014 as part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

It also provides online quoting and comparison resources for individual and family insurance plans such as health, Medicare, short-term, health savings accounts (HSAs), vision and more.

Headquartered in Rosemont, Flexible Benefit Service Corporation offers health care solutions, which are integrated with unique expertise, service and technology for health insurance producers, as well as employers and employees.
