US based Flexible Benefit Service has unveiled the InsureXSolutions private health insurance exchange, designed to allow employers to offer employee benefits and provides an online platform to employees for selecting insurance plans as per their requirements.
According to the service provider, the InsureXSolutions web platform is made available in only selected markets.
InsureXSolutions assists employers currently not offering employee benefits to easily allocate a fixed amount of funds for each employee.
Employees can access the InsureXSolutions web portal to search online quoting and comparison resources for individual and family insurance plans from various national and regional insurance companies.
After finding the suitable plan, employees use the InsureXSolutions online marketplace to directly apply for health insurance, Medicare, short-term insurance and/or vision insurance, Flexible said.
Commenting on the launch of the new platform, Flex president John DiVito said InsureXSolutions reinforces its mission for providing innovative, cost-effective health care programs.
"Our private exchange is truly unique because it seamlessly integrates our internal, proprietary resources to deliver an end-to-end insurance solution to the marketplace," DiVito added.
