First American Title Insurance Company has announced that it is establishing direct operations in the state of Colorado. Lynn Donner, who previously served as regional vice president for Nevada, will relocate to Colorado to oversee the company's operations in the state.

Ms Donner has more than 29 years of experience in all areas of title and escrow operations. Since joining First American as a file clerk in 1979, she has served in various capacities, including high-liability and commercial escrow officer, escrow branch manager and escrow supervisor. In 1994, she was named vice president and manager of the company’s operations in Clark County, Nevada, then was promoted to Nevada state manager five years later. She was promoted to her most recent position as regional vice president for Nevada in 2002.

Replacing Ms Donner in Nevada is Robert Law, who has been named Nevada operations manager. After joining First American’s Phoenix office as a property research specialist in 1992, Mr Law went on to hold positions in customer service and as a sales representative in Maricopa County. He joined the company’s Tucson office in 1998, and was named sales manager for the Pima County operation. After relocating to Hawaii in 2000 to accept a position as president of First American’s Hawaii operation, Law returned to Phoenix two years later when he was named southwest region sales manager and escrow operations manager. He was promoted to vice president and Maricopa County manager in 2003, then to his most recent position as vice president of sales and marketing for First American’s midwest and southwest division in 2007.

Dennis Gilmore, COO for First American’s parent company, The First American Corporation, said: We are excited about moving into the Colorado market with our direct operations. This move will present tremendous opportunities for First American, and Lynn is the perfect person to lead this effort.
