First American Title Insurance Company, a provider of title insurance and settlement services, has released the mobile version of a web portal, myFirstAm application, for Android.
The application will help users to check title and escrow order status, review transaction documents, place customer service requests, calculate estimated title insurance and closing fees, and generate a property search, among others.
First American Title Insurance chief information officer Larry Godec said that the myFirstAm app for Android expands options for those who need to access property information and track title and escrow status when they are away from the office.
"We understand that those in the real estate industry need mobile access in order to provide buyers with the information they need when they need it, where they need it, whether it is in the office or in the field," Godec added.
Currently available with Google Play store, the application also assists users to plot comparable sales on an aerial map, e-mail property reports, view transaction history, including foreclosure activity and access legal descriptions, parcel and tract information.
