Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company (FFIC) has selected alfabet's planningIT solution to reduce complexity of its IT environment.
alfabet claims that its planningIT business IT management solution will help FFIC plan and monitor performance of IT support throughout its entire lifecycle.
The solution will help FFIC build a sustainable, governed process for continuous rationalization and optimization of its application portfolio by progressing from short-term tactical rationalization to long term strategic planning over time.
In addition, through the solution FFIC can achieve a 9% reduction in the number of its applications and a similar reduction in the complexity of its application portfolio by 2011, said alfabet.
alfabet CEO and founder Erik Masing said that the company is confident that through the use of planningIT, FFIC will achieve greater efficiency and management across its portfolio.
