Fireman's Fund Insurance Company (FFIC), a property and casualty insurance company and member of the Allianz Group, has entered into joint marketing agreement with Scientific Conservation Inc (SCI), a provider of energy efficiency solutions to commercial building market.
Under the terms of the agreement, SCI becomes an FFIC referral partner, and they will work together to promote and integrate their products and services for existing and prospective policyholders to offer discounted premiums, reduced fee structures and lower energy and maintenance costs.
SCI’s said that its SCIwatch solution identifies and prioritizes energy system anomalies based on expected performance, predictive modeling, and current climate conditions.
The solution offers Preventative Maintenance Management (PMM) and Energy Base-lining as a core technique for the build industry.
FFIC senior director of Emerging Industries Stephen Bushnell said that the SCIwatch automated PMM solution could have a significant impact for the policyholders because the process identifies and predicts changes in performance before building and asset degradation occur.
