Fireman's Fund Insurance Company (FFIC), a property and casualty insurance company and member of the Allianz Group, has appointed David Zona as chief underwriting officer and Kathleen Zortman as chief field executive.

As chief underwriting officer, Zona is responsible for setting the direction and priorities for commercial and personal insurance product lines and has primary accountability for driving profitable growth.

In her new role, Zortman will be responsible for leading the field underwriting, customer service and sales teams to create a consistent experience for Fireman’s Fund agents and broker partners.

Zortman most recently served as the president of Professional Risk Solutions, a wholesale broker headquartered in the Northeast.

Prior to joining Fireman’s Fund, she held leadership positions with PLI Brokerage, a high-net-worth agency, Chubb, and Deloitte Consulting.

Founded in 1863, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company is a premier property and casualty insurance company providing personal and commercial insurance products backed by claims and risk management solutions.
