FinCor Holdings, a subsidiary of Medical Professional Mutual Insurance Company, has appointed John Karlen as its new president and chief operating officer.
In this new role, Mr Karlen will lead all of the FinCor subsidiaries including MHA Insurance Company, Washington Casualty Company, The Risk Management and Patient Safety Institute, FinCor Solutions, and Capital Risk Solutions.
Mr Karlen’s industry experience includes underwriting vice president, product and services development vice president and also vice president of administration.
Mr Karlen is currently the president of Conventus Inter-Insurance Exchange in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Previously he served management positions at Physicians Insurance Mutual of Seattle, Physicians Insurance of Wisconsin, CNA Insurance, Orion Group and Safeco Insurance.
