Farmers Insurance Group has appointed Denise Ruggiero as the company's new vice president of legislative and regulatory affairs.
Ms Ruggiero is a member of the Texas and California State Bar Associations. She is a certified public accountant and holds the designation of chartered property and casualty underwriter. She is a former board member of the St John’s Shelter for Women and Children and also served on the board of the California Chamber Advocate Council. Ms Ruggiero served as a board member of the California Taxpayers Association and the California Civil Justice Association.
Ron Coble, senior vice president of legislative, regulatory, compliance, risk management and media relations, said: We are very pleased to have Denise join the Farmers family. Denise joins us after 20 years with State Farm Insurance Company where she served in various claims and legal positions.
