Farmers Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Financial Services, has appointed Kevin Kelso as its executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

Mr Kelso joined Farmers in July 1999 as vice president of personal lines R&D and held positions in Farmers product management and state operations groups before becoming president of Farmers personal insurance in July of 2002.

In January 2007, Mr Kelso was promoted to executive vice president. He received Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in mathematics.
