The Farmers National Bank of Canfield has acquired the US-based Bowers Insurance Agency (the Bowers Group).
Bowers Group, which operates from Cortland of Ohio, will be included in Farmers’ insurance agency subsidiary Farmers National Insurance.
The acquisition will allow Farmers to provide a range of commercial, farm, home, and auto property/casualty insurance products to its customers.
Farmers will continue to provide full service programs to all current Bowers Group customers, comprising of private client, retirement, investments, trust and insurance.
Farmers National Bank president and CEO Kevin Helmick said: "This partnership enables Farmers to solidify our comprehensive wealth management division.
"With a strong Trust Company, Retirement Company (NAI) and Investment division, the Bowers Insurance Company will broaden our offerings with their robust and well-established agency."
Farmers National Insurance offers a range of insurance products to its customers.
