Farmers Insurance Group of Companies has launched new Cyber Liability and Data Breach expense coverage program, intended to protect main street businesses in Wyoming, US.
The new coverage offers $25,000 limit for indemnity, $25,000 limit for defense, $2,500 self-insured retention, third party liability coverage as well as privacy breach response services including customer notification and forensic and legal assistance.
Additionally, the coverage includes extended reporting period available and free data security risk management services through FarmersCyber.com
The expense coverage is effective from 1 January 2013 for all Business Owner Policy (BOP) industries with a modified premium less than $50,000.
All renewal Business Owner Policies will be automatically provided with the new coverage effective from 1 March 2013.
