Farmers Insurance will introduce its mobile claims catastrophe buses (MCC) at the Wildland Urban Interface Conference to be held from 27-28 March 2012 at the Sierra Grand Resort in Reno, Nevada, US.

Farmers Nevada state executive director Nate Hildner said that the conference focuses on disaster preparation, deployment and recovery issues that are frequently occurring each year throughout our country.

"The MCCs are deployed to disasters that occur throughout the United States to join agents our claims teams help our customers and non-customers alike with immediate and long term needs," Hildner added.

The MCC features advanced satellite communications equipment, satellite weather communications, phones, laptops and supplies.

Farmers Insurance, insurer of both personal lines passenger automobile and homeowners insurance, serve more than 10 million households with over 20 million individual policies across all 50 states through more than 50,000 exclusive and independent agents and nearly 24,000 employees.
