Farmers Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Financial Services, has appointed Dan Lewis, current Farmers Pacific Zone Agency manager, as its Ohio State executive director, effective immediately.

Lewis joined Farmers in 2005 as a Life sales specialist in the Colorado state office. In 2007, he was promoted to division marketing manager, also in Colorado. In 2010, he was promoted to the agencies department in home office, where he took on the role of Pacific zone agencies manager.

Prior to Farmers, he served at Charles Schwab and Jackson National Life.

Farmers Eastern Zone senior vice president Todd Brooks said that Dan brings a wealth of insurance knowledge and agency experience to his new position.
