Farmers Insurance, a wholly owned by the Zurich Financial Services, has appointed Jeff Bock, currently director of the Minneapolis Business Development Center, as new Utah state executive director, effective immediately.

Bock joined Farmers in 1987 as a personal lines underwriter in the Los Angeles Regional Office. Later, he moved to the marketing department, where he held a number of positions.

During his career at Farmers, he held various roles with increasing responsibilities that include as marketing administration manager, Personal Lines agency consultant (PLAC).

Farmers Insurance Group executive vice president of Field Operations Jerry Carnahan said that Jeff has an excellent working background in personal lines, marketing and Farmers state operations.

"His experience and leadership will be a great asset to the State of Utah and to our entire Utah Farmers family," Carnahan said.
