Farmers Insurance Group, a provider of insurance and financial products and services, has appointed Todd Brooks, vice president of Field Operations, Eastern Growth Markets, as new senior vice president- Eastern Zone, effective immediately.
The Eastern Zone includes the states of Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Brooks joined Farmers in June 1987 as a claims adjuster in Illinois. He held various roles with increasing responsibility roles throughout his career with Farmers Insurance as commercial underwriting team manager, division marketing manager, state executive director, vice president and chief underwriting officer.
He was promoted to his current position of vice president Field Operations, Eastern Growth Markets in 2010.
Farmers Group, a management and holding company, along with its subsidiaries, is wholly owned by the Zurich Financial Services Group.
