Everest Re Group, a Bermuda-based property and casualty reinsurance and insurance firm, has appointed Jean-Luc Gourgeon as new European general manager, based in London.
Gourgeon was most recently the chief underwriting officer for Paris Re Group and CEO of Paris Re France, having spent over 20 years in various roles at Paris Re and its predecessor companies.
Over that time, he had responsibility for underwriting and product development across various classes of business and territories.
