ESIS, a member of the ACE Group, has acquired a majority stake in ProClaim America, a professional liability services company.
This acquisition will enable ESIS to combine resources of its existing medical, professional and product liability claims consulting unit, with ProClaims’ capabilities to create a new business unit – ESIS ProClaim.
The new business unit is expected to provide a suite of claims and consulting services offered to healthcare providers, professionals, manufacturers and their insurers.
ESIS ProClaim will also provide an expanded range of services including claims handling for professional liability exposures for medical malpractice, senior care liability, and lawyers’ liability, along with employment practices, directors and officers and product liability.
In conjunction, ESIS has appointed Sam Terzich as the president of the new business unit.
