Ernst & Young, a provider of assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, has appointed Dave Hollander as principal and insurance advisory practice leader for its Financial Services Office.

Hollander will join Ernst & Young with over 30 years of insurance advisory services, which includes 27 years at Accenture, where he led both the insurance sector and was the founder and managing director of Accenture’s global insurance solutions group.

Most recently, Hollander served as CEO of Unirisx, an insurance policy processing software company, based in the US and UK.

Ernst & Young’s Insurance Industry Services global director Pete Porrino said Hollander’s deep industry knowledge and experience in building teams of people, physical tools and insurance services to better support clients positions him perfectly to help lead our rapidly growing insurance advisory team.

Ernst & Young advisory leader, financial services Hank Prybylski said insurers are facing unprecedented regulatory and accounting changes, which will significantly impact every aspect of their business.

"We are fortunate to have a proven professional of Dave’s caliber to lead the expansion of our insurance advisory practice and help our clients meet the challenges these changes will bring," Prybylski said.
