Enstar Group has appointed Robert Deutsch to board of directors of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Enstar Holdings.
In his current role as a partner at GCP Capital Partners, Deutsch focuses on insurance-related investments and prior to that he served at Bermuda-based specialty insurer, Ironshore as founding Chief Executive Officer.
Before joining Ironshore, Deutsch worked as Chief Financial Officer of CNA Financial Corporation for five years.
Deutsch also served as CFO and Chief Actuary, as well as President of the two operating companies, at Executive Risk between 1987 and 1999.
Beazley Furlonge also appointed Deutsch as a non-executive director last month to the Lloyd’s managing agency that forms part of Beazley plc.
Headquartered in Hamilton, Enstar acquires and manages insurance and reinsurance companies in run-off and to provide management, consulting and other services to insurance and reinsurance industry.
