The Empire Life Insurance Company has rolled out its latest online life insurance application with full underwriting, which will enable Canadians to quickly apply for affordable insurance coverage.
Dubbed as ‘The Fast & Full Life Insurance Application Process (Fast & Full Life App)’, the tool can be used by advisors with their customers to apply for life insurance coverage.
The web-based application informs the customers whether their application has been approved for coverage making it extremely fast, with full underwriting.
The Fast & Full Life App features an electronic life insurance application, and offers credit card and Interac as initial electronic payment options.
Empire Life Insurance senior vice-president Sean Kilburn said, "We know there are many Canadians who don’t have enough life insurance.
"This new online application will make it faster and easier for them to apply for the insurance coverage they need, while benefitting from the expertise of an advisor."
Kilburn further said that advisors can meet their customers personally, or on the phone, to evaluate client protection requirements and complete underwriting questions while looking at the same screens online.
"They don’t need to be in the same room or city anymore-everything can be done online and over the phone."
The Fast and Full Life App has been optimized to work on any tablet, desktop or laptop, and uses electronic signatures to decrease paper and boosts processing time.
