The Empire Life Insurance Company is creating a unified data environment using Informatica Platform to help build customer centricity and maximize return on data enterprise-wide.

Dubbed customer experience framework, the platform uses Informatica Platform components including Master Data Management (MDM), Enterprise Data Integration and Data Quality to enable Empire Life’s distribution partners deliver value-added products and services to customers.

The company is implementing Informatica PowerCenter Advanced Edition for enterprise data integration across Empire Life back-office systems, CRM systems, as well as call center technologies and collaborative applications.

Informatica MDM is being implemented initially for feeding of authoritative master data to consuming applications, business users and customer-facing personnel, and will also be used to manage product master data on the same MDM platform in later stages.

Using Informatica Data Quality, the company will be able to meet and proactively manage data quality across its information environment, whereas Informatica Data Explorer will allow profiling of data for hidden risks and structural issues, in addition to stopping quality problems from spreading in Empire Life data.

Optimization of Empire Life’s customer-centricity project and Informatica deployment will be carried out in collaboration with Informatica partner, Adastra, and Informatica Professional Services.
