Elephant Insurance has selected Guidewire Software's PolicyCenter solution as its new rating, underwriting and policy administration management system.
With the help of PolicyCenter solution, Elephant Insurance will develop and configure rating as well as system changes internally and improve the efficiency of the underwriting process by offering instant access to data.
Guidewire said that PolicyCenter is designed to support both commercial as well as personal lines and helps insurers streamline front and back office processes, from new business submission and quoting through policy renewals.
Prior to the PolicyCenter, Elephant Insurance has already implemented Guidewire’s BillingCenter and ClaimCenter solutions.
Elephant Insurance deputy director and CFO Tim MacAleese said, "We believe PolicyCenter will have a significant impact on our ability to offer enhanced self-service options – particularly online, where our customers will be able to get policy rate quotes, buy coverage and review and change their existing policies."
