ELDORADO would integrate its flagship Javelina browser-based claims and benefit management platform with WellDyneRx’s PBM services

Eldorado Computing (ELDORADO), a provider of health benefit and claims management platforms, and WellDyneRx have announced that they are collaborating to create and market integrated claims processing software and PBM services to payers.

Under the alliance, ELDORADO will integrate its flagship Javelina browser-based claims and benefit management platform with WellDyneRx’s PBM services. ELDORADO and WellDyneRx will offer Javelina and PBM services to their respective clients, including third-party administrators, health plans unions and self-insured employers.

Javelina, which harnesses Java, open source, service-oriented architecture and other next-generation technologies, help insurers analyse and manage their business efficiently. The solution also facilitates improved cost reporting, and plan design and administration, claims the company.

Damien Lamendola, president and CEO of WellDyneRx, said: “We have chosen to work with ELDORADO because of the company’s strong commitment to delivering solutions that yield greater efficiencies and value for the payor community. This aligns perfectly with our culture and goal of providing leading-edge programs to health plans and their members. Javelina’s web-based approach and features add flexibility, speed and efficiency to claims and payment processing, allowing clients to tailor and respond rapidly to evolving market developments.”

Tom Castleberry, vice chairman of ELDORADO, said: “WellDyneRx is an innovative, forward-thinking organization that understands the role information technology plays in improving administrative, operational, financial and clinical efficiencies. It recognizes that the business environment and management of millions of pharmacy claims demand highly reliable and scalable solutions, and we look forward to a very successful alliance.”
