eHealth, an online health insurance company, has signed a marketing and distribution partnership agreement with MedHelp, an online health community site.

The agreement is an expansion of eHealth’s existing partnership with MedHelp.org.

As per the terms of the deal, eHealth will provide MedHelp with an eCommerce platform for members, with access to more than 10,000 individual health insurance products from over 180 branded insurance firms, countrywide.

John de Souza, CEO, MedHelp, said: “Partnering with eHealth for health insurance was a natural fit for us. Our members will be able to get advice, compare plan benefits, and apply for a policy directly from the carrier of their choice in a single-online session.
