UK based specialist insurer Ecclesiastical has appointed Julie Molloy as new regional director for its Northern regional center, effective 1 March 2011.
In her new role, Molloy will be responsible for managing a team of 40 underwriters and business development staff providing insurance products and services to a wide range of customers through brokers based in Northern England and Scotland.
Molloy, who most recently held the position of head of customer service within Ecclesiastical, will replace Paul Lee, who takes up the new role of operational excellence director in March.
Molloy has been with Ecclesiastical for 16 years and has held several roles within the company. She
joined Ecclesiastical having worked as an account executive with a number of brokers in and around
Manchester City.
Ecclesiastical is a specialist insurer of charities, the education, care and faith sectors, heritage buildings and fine art. It also offers ethically screened investment funds and has a team of independent financial advisers.
