UK-based E-trading specialist E-Underwriting has launched a new property owners product, with a strategy to boost Power Place’s panel.

Power Place operates as an online insurance marketplace, which allows insurance firms to quote, compare and sell a range of leading insurance products quickly.

E-Underwriting director Scott Banks was quoted by Post online as saying, "Online distribution has an increasingly important part to play in the SME trading landscape and we look forward to working closely with Power Place to help support the broking community."

Power Place CEO Nick Giddings commented, "It is very exciting to have E-Underwriting on board. Launching the property owners product really strengthens our panel and ensures that we are well on our way to providing the most competitive and broker centric proposition in the market."

Providing an array of insurance products to its broker customers in both the personal and commercial lines markets, E-Underwriting operates as the newest division of OIM Underwriting and is part of the global brokerage and risk management services group, Arthur J Gallagher.
