US-based employee benefits-only agency Digital Insurance has acquired Health Star Consulting in a bid to provide enhanced services and expanded resources to clients through national network.
Following the completion of acquisition, Health Star Consulting principal Devin Bernstein joined the team of Digital Benefit Advisors (DBA), a division of Digital Insurance.
The integration will provide direct policy holders access to a Customer Advocate Center, where knowledgeable and licensed Digital representatives will answer benefits and policy questions, enabling employers to free-up overworked HR departments.
In addition, employers will receive access to a broader variety of carriers, dynamic tools, proprietary products and the ability to effectively navigate the complexities of health care reform.
Bernstein said, "As the industry continues to evolve in the wake of health care reform, aligning with DBA enables me to provide clients access to more resources and better technology that differentiate us from the competition."
Health Star Consulting specializes in working with financial institutions, government entities and manufacturers, and empowering employers with in-depth knowledge to make more informed decisions about benefits plans.
