Digital Insurance has agreed to acquire Virginia-based Strategic Employee Benefits Services (SEBS), which is expected to further reinforce Digital’s presence in Richmond, Charlottesville and Roanoke as well as offer enhanced capabilities to its clients.

As per the agreement, SEBS will operate under Digital Benefit Advisors (DBA), and its president Nancy Grasso and staff will join the new organization and continue to provide service to its clients.

Digital Insurance executive vice president and chief marketing officer Mike Sullivan said that the acquisition will provide the employers with access to a wide range of carriers, dynamic tools, proprietary products and the ability to effectively navigate the complexities of health care reform.

Recently, Dominion Benefits as well as CCA joined Digital Benefit Advisors further expanding Digital’s market stronghold in the region.

Digital Insurance, founded in 2000 and headquartered at US, operates as an employee health benefits agency offering life, disability, dental, and health insurance products, as well as benefits compliance programs and operational support services. It serves agents/brokers, small businesses, financial services companies, individuals, and insurance companies.
