DentalPlans.com, an online provider of discount dental plans for individuals and families across US, has selected Danielle Powers as the company's general counsel.
Most recently, Powers served as the director of legal and compliance for Coverdell & Company and has also acted as a policy analyst for the Illinois Department of Public Health.
At Coverdell, Powers acted as the primary liaison with regulators on legislative and regulatory requirements, while serving as the chief in-house legal and compliance officer.
DentalPlans.com president Jennifer Stoll said, "Powers’ expertise in compliance and legal matters will be a valuable asset to our company."

The company represents over 30 of the largest Discount Dental Plan networks across the country, including Aetna, Cigna, Careington, Solstice and more, said the service provider.
The plans works similar to a member discount program, where people can save 10% to 60% on most dental care procedures at more than 100,000 participating dentists nationwide.
The Riverside Company purchased DentalPlans.com in 2012, which is a global private equity firm with over $3bn in assets and 20 offices in 14 nations globally.
