CUSO Financial Services (CFS), a US-based provider of customized investment and insurance solutions to the credit union industry, has appointed Daniel Kilroy as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Mr Kirloy will be responsible for financial planning and strategy driving improved earnings nationally and will report to CEO Valorie Seyfert.

According to the company, Mr Kilroy will pay close attention to all aspects of the company’s financial details. Particularly, he will oversee the planning and budget process, cash management and process implementation for accounting, finance, and commissions.

Most recently, Mr Kilroy served as senior vice president and head of financial planning and analysis for a large independent broker dealer.

Ms Seyfert said: “We approached the economic challenges of late 2008 and 2009 as opportunities to set the stage for growth. That included appointing Dan to our CFO position. His deep knowledge of the broker dealer industry and excellence as a financial strategist will help to guide our growth and expand revenue opportunities.
