Curian Capital, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of the UK’s Prudential, has appointed Mike Petko as new divisional vice president for the East region.

In this role, Petko will oversee a team of Curian’s regional business consultants and manage the company’s distribution efforts in the eastern half of the US.

Before joining Curian, Petko served as executive vice president and national sales manager for Transamerica Capital where he was responsible for overseeing four divisional vice presidents and 52 wholesalers in the sales group.

During his time at Transamerica, Petko helped reorganize the company’s distribution efforts across three national advisory channels.

Curian senior vice president and national sales manager Greg Verfaillie said Mike is a decisive leader who has been recognized for sound business judgment and the ability to build high performing teams.

Curian Capital is a registered investment advisor that provides an fee-based wealth management platform to financial professionals.
