Crump Group (CGI) has named Michael Kryza, Jr. as the executive vice president of corporate development, who will plan and direct corporate development policies and initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions and other strategic relationships.

Since 2002, Mr Kryza served as an executive vice president within CGI’s life insurance services division, being responsible for its customer solutions group. He led the sale of the company’s AgencyWorks division to iPipeline, and facilitated the asset purchase of Life Settlements Insights that has been integrated into Crump Life Insurance Services’ secondary market solutions group.

Before joining Crump Life Insurance Services, Mr Kryza progressed in roles of responsibility with Western & Southern Financial Group, a diversified financial services organization. He also served as a member of the executive team for a Bermuda-based provider of life insurance software solutions.
